Born and raised in Nashville, TN, I currently live in East Nashville.  I’ve been drawing and exploring my creative interests all my life.  After studying art at MTSU and graduating with a degree in Mass Communications, I set my sights on New York City to work in the entertainment industry.  After a couple of years absorbing New York’s art scene and culture, I returned to Nashville and pursued art while branching out into the music business.

I returned to my love of drawing, painting, and in particular, creating collages. Some of my recent work has been inspired by song lyrics, colorful figures, country singers and city skylines including, of course, my favorite city Nashville.  My influences include oriental art, Grandma Moses, Jane Wooster Scott and Red Grooms.

My award-winning art has been shown in Nashville galleries, the ABC TV series "Nashville", national print advertisements and in private collections world-wide.  Notecards prints and originals have been available in various stores, galleries and festivals.

My main area of focus has been creating collages.  Using Color-aid® paper’s vibrant colors, I cut the images and paste them together.  It can take several months to complete a piece from start to finish, from sketching the composition, to selecting the colors to cutting every piece and pasting them together to create playful, joyous, and imaginative scenes.

I hope to create worlds in which one can become lost in the detail and color and have a sense of whimsy and joy in their own hearts.
